Welcome to the website of the Suburban Houston-Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter (SHFBAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Our Sorority was founded on January 13,1913 by 22 collegiate women at Howard University, and now spans over 350,000 members and 1,000 chapters worldwide. Our Chapter is part of the Blazing Southwest Region and was chartered on May 22, 1976, by 12 visionary women. We have proudly served Missouri City and Fort Bend County for nearly 50 years. Today, SHFBAC has over 550 members and is the largest Delta chapter in the Greater Houston area.

Our major programs are based upon our Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health, and political awareness and involvement. We deliver impactful service in our community in collaboration with community partners, local schools, hospitals, D9 organizations, the Fort Bend Women’s Center, St. Jude, March of Dimes and more.
